 New Spawn

This Is what i have in mind for spawn,,,, right now.

The long lines are meant to be like a small wall, with arches over the two points of the river. The three sets of small lines are bridges, maybe directing players to the different areas of town (shops, houses, etc)
The ravine we can cover no big deal, and maybe start a spawn mine there. The high mountain at the back marked "temple" could be used for either a mountain temple, monument or similar.

Any thoughts or ideas, yes I know you wish you could be as good as me in paint Wink

Bridge thing is a nice idea. Different districts are also nice idea, because in previous map spawn it was hard to find a shop, because they all were randomly built around all spawn area. If now they are built in one certain place, it would be easier for people to find items they'd like to buy.

there is need for green spaces lots and lots of them and decorative things like small monuments or sculpture-like constructions AND there should be lots of space between builds, I mean, one block streets are bad!

I have the main front wall done,,, this is just a rough template. People are free to edit or add to the design.

The arches need done, and detailing on the wall.

I copied your wall from the last map method, it could do with some of the circular towers you had along it at points. I mean we could even add some buildings ontop of the wall or along side the river archers,,, idk... People should just add what they like, it should be a community build, ie the walls, the centre, the townhall, then we just designate areas for shops, houses after that

Maybe would look better with wall stretching around the coast

I put a wall in a s template, if any of you want to change or edit the route it takes or design go right ahead

I'm gonna screenshot and doodle a bit....I think Nihility's ideas are good, except the west side all market and the east side all residential...I'll upload my idea here in a sec. I really think that the wall is a beautiful defining structure to give the town noticeable boundaries!

well in economic area isnt just markets, there should be all kind of stuff like blacksmiths, farms, entrance to ravine(underground mining place), xp farms if possible or just decorative builds with no actual purpose. Same at the residential area - builds with no actual purpose, parks, decorations, museum, library...

kit and I laid out part of the mod/admin housing area. I'm thinking the block immediately to the east can be a small park before the residential section starts.

I really like Nihility's road design. I feel like the Wood w/ lamps is very generic. Not to mention how fast that wood would rot Laughing , stone is more durable and the variance between slab and cobble is very appealing. bounce
