PostSubject: Your top ten games (on different platforms)   Tue Sep 11, 2012 6:33 am

So, what are your top ten for each gaming system you own/like/whatever?

Super Nintendo

1. Yoshi's Island
2. Super Metroid
3. Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past
4. Donkey Kong Country 2
5. Secret Of Mana
6. Donkey Kong Country
7. Donkey Kong Country 3
8. Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow
9. Super Mario Kart
10. F-Zero

As you can tell from that list, I mostly enjoyed platformers on my SNES. Can't say how many times I finished Yoshi's Island but it's a lot. :D

PlayStation

1. Vagrant Story
2. Metal Gear Solid
3. Final Fantasy IX
4. Final Fantasy VII
5. Suikoden II
6. Jade Cocoon
7. Grandia
8. Final Fantasy VIII
9. Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus
10. Gran Turismo 2

On my PS, I preferred story-driven games like rpgs. Especially Vagrant Story and Metal Gear Solid are timeless favourites of mine. I could play them again and again. <3

PlayStation 2

1. Okami
2. Shadow Of The Colossus
3. Beyond Good & Evil
4. Odin Sphere
5. ICO
6. Timesplitters: Future Perfect
7. Final Fantasy XII
8. Metal Gear Solid 3
9. Persona 3
10. Jak & Daxter

There are still a few rpgs on that list but also games which explore the medium in a creative or innovative way of gameplay and/or storytelling. That's a thing that I've been finding very appealing since then.

PlayStation 3

1. Demon's Souls
2. BioShock
3. Journey
4. Dead Space
5. Uncharted 2
6. Fallout 3
7. Uncharted 3
8. Batman: Arkham Asylum
9. Little Big Planet
10. Bayonetta

Now, this list is subject to change because I still have to play so many games yet. Dark Souls, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Skyrim, Batman: Arkham City, BioShock 2, Dead Space 2, Catherine, Alice: Madness Returns and so many more I might like.

PC

1. The Secret Of Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge
2. The Secret Of Monkey Island
3. Planescape Torment
4. The Book Of Unwritten Tales
5. Sins Of A Solar Empire
6. Age Of Empires 2
7. Mass Effect
8. Anno 1404
9. Indiana Jones And The Fate Of Atlantis
10. Day Of The Tentacle

I might as well make a list of my pc games, since I obviously own a computer. I do not play too much stuff on it though. But I love Point&Click Adventures. :)

Vilo, Playstation - "3. Final Fantasy IX"
Thank god. Someone else has played that game xD

I look at these lists like 'whoa, I don't think I've played enough games to fill 1 platform list'

I never got into gaming on anything besides a PC besides the Tony Hawk and GTA series on PS2.

1. Master of Orion. Old school TBS.
2. Warcraft series. II was okay, but III is really where the custom maps got great.
3. Diablo series. I spent the most time playing II, but III really was worth it.
Command and Conquer. Red Alert was great, but nothing beats Tiberian Sun.
4. League of Legends. I tried the others (DotA2, HoN) but League has the formula right. Too bad the community isn't better.
5. Minecraft. It's great.
6. Gunbound. This phase lasted waaay too long.
7. Portal series. Both were excellent.
8. Muds! Text only multiplayer gaming.
9. Half-life series.
10. Unreal Tournament. I didn't really play any because for this one. It was a blast.
