Java is a pain in my arse. Empty
PostSubject: Java is a pain in my arse.   Java is a pain in my arse. EmptyFri Mar 15, 2013 6:57 am

For a good while now, my java has crashed for numerous different reasons upon entering the FtB server. "unexpected errors, readtime errors, Unexpected result from topLevelExceptionFilter errors," you name it... It's only when I join a multiplayer server, and it usually crashes me 5-8 times before letting me on. Evil or Very Mad

I've updated java, reinstalled java, reinstalled FtB, cursed the high heavens for creating such a terrible beast named Java, and even offered my soul in exchange for the ability to play (seeing as how I'm friends with more than 1 red-head, My soul was already drained away, who knew?).

Any ideas, or do I need to hire someone to overthrow this tyrant?

OBSERVATION: I seem to crash as I'm loading spot/chunk-loaded chunks quickly and repetitively (i.e. hopping back and forth from portal to portal). This also happens when I quantum sprint away from, and toward my base or other loaded chunks.

Well try running it as an administrator, if you are using windows 7 or above.

If that doesn't work, please provide us with more information e.g.;

Java version

Version: 1.6.0_26

I've submitted each new error report to java, although I don't think they respond to those.

Here's the 5 most recent errors:

idk if this is a possibility but when you update your java, your old versions of java still stay on your computer. Maybe FTB is trying to use those older versions of lava instead of the new, updated version which is causing it to crash and burn into the fiery depths of hell?

Also try java 64bit? I have better luck with it on my machines than the 32 bit.

I can't tell from the dumps which you are using.

I'm using 64-bit, since the last direwolf update, I haven't had any issues, though. We'll see if it keeps running well.
