Ranks and the Differences Empty
PostSubject: Ranks and the Differences   Ranks and the Differences EmptySun Jun 24, 2012 5:46 pm

Remeber the server is supposed to be semi-vanilla or as close to it as possible. When I started the server I never had ranks in mind but decided to add them to brighten the chat up a little and let players know who is a new player and who is not. So there is not much differences in the extra commands you get.

If anyone moans or asks to be promoted it will just take you longer to progress. You willl be promoted when we see fit.

Hobo: This is the rank you start at. To quote wiki "A hobo is a migratory worker or homeless vagabond, especially one who is penniless" quite fitting for players looking for a server to call home, as well as amusing for us.
Commands:
/help
/helpop
/home
/rules
/spawn
/tpaccept
/tpadeny
/warp
/warp list

Resident: This is the next rank after Hobo. "A person who maintains residency (domicile) in a given place". You will be promoted to resident once you spend a little time on the server and actuallly build your homeless ass a home.
Commands:
/money
/money help
/money pay
/afk
/itemdb
/list
/mail
/motd
/me
/msg
/sell
/suicide
/realname
/worth

Member: This is the rank after resident, you will reach this by visiting the server often usually a few weeks, but you can speed it up by being active on the forums and/or using mumble or being helpful to either other players or the server in some way. "A member is a person who belongs to a social group or an entity such as a company or nation. By extension it can refer to any part of a whole."
Commands:
/money player
/money top
/mail send
/nick

Moderator: Mods are selected from our regular player base when the need arises, to be a mod you must be a regular player and have proved yourself trustworthy, sensible and helpful. "A person given special powers to enforce the rules on an Internet forum, newsgroup or blog" As well as the commands listed every mod is pm'd the other commands not listed below
Commands:
/ban
/banip
/clearinventory
/invsee
/jail
/kick
/kill
/manuadd player group
/mandemote
/manpromote
/tjail
/tp
/tphere
/unban
/unbanip
/whitelist add
/whitelist remove
/whitelist list
/whois
