Default or Large Biomes?

What do you want?

Do not vote unless you have played on the large biomes. I wont be voting because I have not yet. Few people have told me that they are massive, so choose wisely

Large Biomes will also mean less npc villages and temples and stuff

Go download admist and enter some seeds, both default and large biomes

Default, because I dont want to run for days out of snow biome.

Setting up server today , hopefully server will re open tomorrow after we decide about the seed

Large biomes are ridiculous, and quickly become tiring once you've had to swim across an ocean for days, or have no trees in sight.
Less villages, and as A.itchy said, 20x the normal biomes - Take a look on the dynmap, count up 20 biomes and ask yourself if you really want that all to be desert? ¬_¬

The amidst tool is not working properly for large biomes yet.

I just loaded our old seed into single player using large biomes and it totally changes the seed.

You really want no trees in sight as ckelly says,,,, its going to quickly become a nightmare

You should see the size of the jungles and oceans

It will take camel ages to get wood!

minecraft now is too easy, large biomes will make it little bit tougher.

While they are ridiculously gigantorific, npc villages and temples seem to spawn in excess. In the world I spent about 4 hours in, the same jungle biome (which was 8000 blocks wide, no idea how long) I found 15 jungle temples, in the adjacent desert biome (11000 blocks wide), I came across 8 villages, and 12 temples.

I still voted for Default, Ocean Biomes are bad enough on default, I don't even want to imagine them on larger biomes.

Imagine a large mooshroom biome :O!! And then imagine how long it would take to find one... ¬.¬

I voted for default.

it would be a novelty at first, but you would be screaming for mercy after a week or two of 8000 wide biomes

Not to mention, eventual battle for territories xD
Some people won't want to journey 20k out to find another snow biome

It's been decided though to do a new random seed that no one but Altchy knows, right? It wasn't too bad that some knew the seed, to me, but to new players....
Anyway, I'll be on around 5 pm mountain usa time.....CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
