Just found a new artist I really like. Guy sounds like Jonathan Davis (Korn) at times. Its sort of electronica style but really good. Band is AWOLNATION

I am very glad Phil Collins is at the top of your list, mrdejong!
System of a Down, Tool, Hard Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Half of what's on mrdejong and Josy's lists. And many good original artists from almost any genre.

Damn, I got all of Dejongs, some of Josy's, and none of Vilo's! I gotta get out more! Though, sorting through my music drive is like searching for Atlantis.....10k folders....too much stuff I'm just never gonna listen to!

Me has it all sorted in spotify!
I want to add, I listen music that I like. The computer music rap, r&b and that stuff is what I don't like.
So going out for me, won't change my music style.
And one more thing for my knowledge Atlantis never existed.

My goodness
Probably haven't heard half of the bands mentioned so far XD
I'm more into Hadouken, Bloc party and pendulum currently, although that stems from my rock roots :] There just doesn't seem to be too many bands out currently that aren't all generic emo kids

I'll listen (voluntarily) to anything besides Country or most Hip-Hop/Rap/basic party music. Although I do love Dubstep, electronic, etc.
I'm mainly a metal fan; Protest the Hero, Periphery, Flyleaf, He Is Legend and Mastodon. But I'm addicted to Circa Survive (Violent Waves is amazings), Coheed & Cambria, Muse, Cake, The Hives, Minus the Bear, Thrice and Iron & Wine.
If I could suggest a band that everyone should listen to (if you haven't already), is Protest the Hero (specifically: Tandem, on their album Scurrilous).
I'm pretty impressed by everyone's music selections!

Oh, Coheed & Cambria and Muse were my two favourite bands a few years ago. But they suddenly changed for the worse. They got rid of their interesting musical style and became shallow bands for the masses. Boy, was I disappointed when I listened to C&C's "Good Apollo II" and "Year Of The Black Rainbow" and Muse's "The Resistance". Experiencing two great bands musically falling apart like that makes me sad. At least I can reminiscence about the good times while listening to their older stuff.

Yea, Resistance and Black Rainbow were terrible, but I liked Good Apollo II.
