| There have been some unexplained deaths over the last few days. To my knowledge these include ckelly (unknown logged into death screen), slyer (teleported into lava), capt (killed in his water drop, said fell over and over).
I know 1.3.1 had some bugs to do with players dying which were fixed with 1.3.2 but maybe there is more they still need to fix. To be honest it could be that or lag idk.
Either way its unfortunate if it happens to you but its nobodys fault. I will not just give you items back because you died in an unexplainable manner due to a game bug or lag. I suggest you dont walk around with the best of gear or an inventory full of diamonds/emeralds. Or try and keep track of where you are so you can at least try and get back to your items.

| Enable death points on rei's minimap, that tell you the location where you died.
Sure you need to have rei's minimap installed.
[offtopic] Installing rei's minimap is easy;
1. Download it 2. Drop it in your minecraft.jar 3. test it 4. Done! [/offtopic]

| Glitches that may be be caused through lag, fair enough. Glitches that cause one to die upon logging in a few hours after you've updated, lead me to think it's unfair ya'know. It's not like it happened when I was even online, and for this I find quite unfair. | |

| Its unfair for sure, but I can not find out what a player had before dying nor can we just take the word of every player the items they lost or that their death was due to a game bug/glitch. Get minimap working and thats your insurance.

| I guess that is quite reasonable.
Still, any word on stable builds for 1.3.2?

| So, where/what is the issue that is causing all the lag? It's definitely mojang created? | |

| Yes its mojang, packet sending issue between the server and your client, need mojang to fix it or for a mod to come out for your client until they do.
Nothing is actually lagging, its just the info the server is sending to your client is delayed, just like the sound.
