Adding Emeralds to sellable list?

Thoughts on adding emeralds to the server sellable items list?

While they are hard to find they are pretty easy to get from villagers for 18 wheat. I think we should price them at 50-60/ea which is about the same as the equivalent wheat.

Yeah, as I said, there are deals like 18 wheat/emerald or 13 pieces of paper/emerald, so, they shouldn't have a high price. On the other hand, some villagers sell stuff like crappy leather pants for a lot of emeralds. I guess it depends on what deals you get. In general, getting emeralds via trade is not that hard. 50-60$ sounds fine.

That is how I was trying to come up with a price, it is difficult, but I think even if somehow you score a good deal on emeralds it is kind of a pain, thus the reason I bumped it from $50 to $60.

I think so. Because even if very few people sell emeralds to the server, it'd be setting a base price of them.

Emeralds is something I've been looking to buy, so providing a base selling value for them will enable me and many other players to buy them from people for a more stable price

sounds good to me. i think 60 sounds good, even with their rarity in mining, because i've found one village with two npcs selling for 20-21 wheat apiece.

thats a really easy way to abuse emeralds and i think its why aitchy didnt add them to the list in the first place. I'd check with him before you add them.

I left them off since trading is broken and can be abused, I think mojang will fix this soon, I dunno its upto you guys
