Hmm... the rant seems quite pointless honestly.

I think if we all start pulling together (granted I and a few other plays haven't been on for a while) then even with a semi active player base of 10 people, we can bump it ten times a day.

If everyone could bump their server threads it'd be a mess.

And personally, I don't know how many others came across the initial server thread, but I did it by searching "Mature", and scouting through the search results - project m was the 4th one in the list, having eliminated the other 3 by looking through who they were whitelisting (Servers branding themselves as "mature" when whitelisting 12 year olds = No.)

We've just gotta make it more of a group effort.
Perhaps you could try giving players bonus rewards for recruiting people - If someone spends their spare time posting the server in peoples 'looking for' threads, that could work. Or even deligate this task to some of the mods?

I like the idea of referral rewards. Give people a few in game $$ for recruiting folks that get to at least resident level.

You messaged me directly because I posted a "searching for" post. I wasn't about to troll through 60 pages of servers and test out a ton of wimpy servers.

Well they clamped down strict rules in the looking for section and they also banned any sort of bumping, directly and indirectly so yeah.

You didn't, I found the server and brought "The Ruinator of Lumps "The Ruinator of Lumps "The Ruinator of Lumps Manifest001""" with me, trust me, the selling point of this server is the fact there's no kids on here, thats what swung it for me.

You've just gotta show what a great server it is and let that be it, people'll join.

Please, none of us are as silly as to be like "Ooooh free bump".

We'll post server related things, requests for help, extra info, completed builds etc. Simple!
Theres no way the staff on the forum are gonna call us out on posting "We've just constructed the library!"

Just make sure you emphasize it's a 16+ mature player base, like literally, make a new thread if you have to and put 16+ in the title. You'd be surprised how many people search key words.
And servers are shown on the search list by most recent post in that topic. Even with 1 post a day, we'll still always be on the first page, theres very few servers out there branding themselves 16+

Yepyep. Thats the way to go about it, when I used the search option last night with keywords like "Adult" "16+" there were server topics that hadn't been touched in weeks, so even if we don't bump for a few days, we'll still be seen on the first page of the search.

We could post screenshots from our builds from time to time, so maybe good quality builds will also provide some insight in server player's capabilities and to show that we can be mature and build cool stuff at the same time.
