| Well decided to dive into the unknown and build a PC, will take me a month or so to get everything together. I am trying to build the best PC I can with the budget I have. Most of the parts will be brand new except the case. Plans: Case - Corsair 600t whitePower Supply - 850w-1000wCpu - i7 3770kMotherboard - ASUS P8Z77-V PREMIUM Intel Z77 Socket 1155 DDR3 PCI-Express MotherboardRam - 8GB Corsair Vengance Hard Drive - 2TB Barracuda SSD - 128GB OCZ VectorGraphics Card - My Old Card GTX 660ti sc 3gb Optical Drive - DVD/Blu Ray PlayerOS - Windows 7 64 Bit ProPSU - Corsair 800GS Cpu water Cooler - Corsair H80i
After Build Plans New Graphics Card Add a corsair cpu water coolerOverclock CPU to 4.4 -4.6ghzPimp out the inside of the case First Purchase (The only case I wanted, Corsair 600t Midi Limited Edition White), I wanted only this case but as it is pretty expensive to buy brand new I have been keeping an eye out for a used mint condition example. Picked this up on ebay and an added bonus the guy was including a 850w power supply with it. I was so worried about getting it undamaged and if it was really as mint condition as he said, but it was delivered in one piece and its basically brand new condition. The case comes with 2 x 200mm Fans Installed (One behind the lower front grill and the other in the roof of the case) both with blue LED's, So Im going with a white/blue colour scheme. The case also came with both a side window and a side mesh which you can change out, the mesh has attachments for more fans. I told my girlfriend the case was sexy, she was not impressed lol Total Price £110 or $167 (£95 + £15 Postage) For the 600t case + an 850w bronze rated power supply)

| Ordered the cpu and motherboard today, the cpu is brand new retail. The motherboard was an open box motherboard which usually retails for around 300GBP (overclockers selling it brand new for 350GBP), so could not pass up the 150GBP Saving. The motherboard is probably one of the best high end Z77 boards on the market right now, has a 32GB SSD built into the board for caching, thunderbolt, wireless and bluetooth, and a lot more great features. Was going to go with the sabertooth but this was slightly cheaper for an all round better board with more features.
Cpu - Intel Core i7-3770K 3.50GHz (Ivy Bridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail @ 244.39GBP
Motherboard - ASUS P8Z77-V PREMIUM Intel Z77 Socket 1155 DDR3 PCI-Express Motherboard - B Grade @ 155.99GBP
Total 410GBP Inc Shipping or $618 USD
Total spend so far $785
You guys in the US get components much cheaper I have noticed | |
