RFW Map on the server

I was talking to Simon today and I had this idea to create a RFW map on the server. I think it would be very fun to create this and since we don't have an event server anymore, this would be really fun to play every once in a while. Simon said he was interested and would help. He brought up a point that in order to do this, we would most likely have to be in creative mode. This is what brings up the issue. Would we be able to set aside an area where we could use creative mode (this is directed mostly at method) and would we be able to do this type of build on this server. We also need to know if we can use world edit in order to mirror the one side that we create. It would be a lot easier to just create one side and mirror it rather than building by hand on the other side (which will be next to impossible to do). We also need to be able to make it work like an arena where we can join the game and pvp is enabled and after the game is over, the blocks are replaced. If we can do all of this, I think it will work wondrously. If anyone has any ideas, please let me or Simon know. If you are interested in helping, I think this could be a fun community build that we can all play in afterwards.

Why can't we build it in survival?

Yes on the turning on pvp in areas etc.

I've never built an RFW map, but apparently it takes a buttload of materials. You've got to get an area for iron, diamond, etc. You also have to build the whole landscape too. It seems hard to get that much resources for this. That being said, it may be interesting if we try to do one side survival.

I also think it would be interesting to theme the map to be Project M themed. We could use builds from the server and use them in the map. For example, I think it would be funny to implement method's storage room and fill it with cobblestone, or use Paul and Simon's mansions at the VIP village, or some other builds that people have done. I think this would give some flare that would really make it feel more personal.

They aren't enourmous, but they take an absolutely retarded amount of blocks to make, if you were to download a map and fly down it you'd understand it is simply not feasible to make it in creative
