Anyone know of a free recording program?

I'm thinking about starting an LP for Minecraft, and I was wondering if any of you knew of a good (or at least decent) recording program I could download for free. On the off chance I actually get some form of a following, I'll drop some cash and buy a quality recording device; but to start, anything around 480p should work just fine.

step 1 install utorrent
step 2 install peer blocker
step 3 run peer blocker and visit the piratebay and search bandicam (fraps files are too big)
step 4 click get torrent and download with utorrent
step 5 right click starterd torrent and goto properties and delete all the trackers if any
step 6 when downloaded follow intructions and enjoy being a cheapskate like me

I have utorrent, never bothered with blocking peers and deleting trackers, is that something I should start doing?

I read a while ago its best to do, especially peerblock while torrenting
