So one of the main issues I have found with Dynmap chat is a lack of any history to look through and be able to scroll back with....well I did some digging since the IRC would not pick up the dynmap and it turns out that there is some optional code written into dynmap that just needs to be turned on...it is around line 100 and looks as such
# Optional: set number of lines in scrollable message history: if set, messagettl is not used to age out messages
#scrollback: 100
# Optional; set maximum number of lines visible for chatbox
#visiblelines: 10
so it would be FABULOUS it you would turn that on.
